Improv Workshop

The AOC Theatre Arts Ministry is hosting an Improv Workshop!
Saturday, March 4 from 10a-2p 2 Sessions: one for High School students and one for Adults, each limited to 15
$25 includes lunch

Has God gifted you with the 'theatre bug'? Learn the fundamentals of improv! In this four-hour workshop taught by instructors from the Merlin Works Institute of Improvisation (part of Zachary Scott Theater), you’ll play goofy improv games and learn to be more open, aware, and yes, delightful! We’ll cover basic improv principles like embracing failure, applying “yes and,” and finding your character. Whether you’re an experienced actor or are just looking to have some fun, this class is right for you!

The AOC Theatre Arts Ministry (TAMS) mission is to provide more dramatic arts at AOC during the services and in various venues and ministry areas. If you've ever thought that acting, building costumes, running sound, directing or writing is what you'd like to do to further the proclaiming of God's word, we'd like to meet you!
