Administrative Assistant Shawn Constant
First Connections Associate
Amy joined our staff in October of 2015 as the First Connections Associate. She desires to make sure all guests of AOC feel welcome and can easily get connected into the AOC family. Amy was born in WI making her a lifelong Packers fan but she spent most of her life in NY. While still in college getting her business degree, she started and ran her own horse business, High Standard Stables, for 9 years. Then the Lord called her to close her business and move to Austin in 2015. It has been a faith journey with many road bumps but she is forever grateful for the growth the Lord has brought in her life along the way. She has a labrador retriever named “Grace” and still has a passion for horses. She also enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and running.
Women's Ministry Assistant
Shawn has been a member of AOC since 1995 and actively involved in our Women’s Ministry for most of that time, regularly attending (& loving!) the Wednesday bible studies. She has a Child Development degree from UT and has been married for 20 years. She and her husband adopted their daughter Emily in 2000. Shawn is an encourager and enjoys serving and encouraging the AOC staff.

Women's Ministry & Events Intern
Hailing from a small town in the fjords of British Columbia, Meghan loves to extend further than she can reach. She lives for Jesus and talks about Him the most (though her husband takes a very close second). She loves to learn, to teach what she knows, and to help others achieve their goals. She's a registered Royal Conservatory of Music piano teacher with ten years' experience, as well as a freelance writer and copy-editor. Due to social-justice-warrior tendencies, Meghan is often distracted by philanthropy. Her hands are usually in at least a few pies. Meghan and her husband Mike like to country dance, debate theology, write music, build things, and run away in pursuit of wild adventures.
