communications & video associate
Tyler grew up in Frisco, Texas, but spent his college years in Austin, graduating from UT with a B.S. in Radio/Television/Film in 2012. During those years, he fell in love with Austin, as well as a girl he met at a Mumford and Sons concert in April 2011. After spending two invaluable years as video producer at a multi-site church in Amarillo, Tyler moved back to Austin to start the next chapter of his life at Austin Oaks Church with his now wife, Kendall. Tyler’s favorite pastimes are Netflix, his PS4, eating, ellipticals, and making movies with his friends.

First Connections Associate
Amy joined our staff in October of 2015 as the First Connections Associate. She desires to make sure all guests of AOC feel welcome and can easily get connected into the AOC family. Amy was born in WI making her a lifelong Packers fan but she spent most of her life in NY. While still in college getting her business degree, she started and ran her own horse business, High Standard Stables, for 9 years. Then the Lord called her to close her business and move to Austin in 2015. It has been a faith journey with many road bumps but she is forever grateful for the growth the Lord has brought in her life along the way. She has a labrador retriever named “Grace” and still has a passion for horses. She also enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and running.
Maggie has been attending Austin Oaks since moving back to Austin in 2010. She has a Communications degree from UT and is surrounded by a family of Longhorns, her husband Newton and three kids, Ashton, Ava and Cole. Maggie enjoys reading, cooking and hanging out with friends and family.
