Lucas Jackson

Pastor of Student Ministries

Lucas joined AOC in July of 2015 as Pastor of Student Ministries. He grew up in a small town in Kansas and came to Christ when he was 15 years old. It was at this time that he felt called to ministry. His passion for working with youth began when he himself was in high school working with his own youth pastor and ministry. He then received his Bachelors at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and is currently working on his Masters in Ministry Leadership. Lucas is married to Melissa, his partner in ministry and they have a daughter named Paislee. He enjoys basketball, fishing, hunting, movies, books, beef jerky, spending time (especially on road trips) with students and spending time with his family. Lucas says youth ministry is his calling and “don’t waste your life” is his battle cry to students.
