CARE MINISTRY

Need some help?   We're here for you!

For more information or inquiries about any of the following Care Ministries,
email Don Read, our Congregational Care Pastor, unless otherwise stated.

Counseling

Professional counseling is one avenue God has ordained for healing and growth in our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual lives.

We partner with professional Christian counselors who help us care for the people of our church and the local community.

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer! There is no need too big or too small for God and we'd love to join you in prayer! Submit Prayer requests below.

Weddings

If you or someone you know is interested in hosting a wedding at Austin Oaks Church, contact Dawn Beacom. We currently host weddings for our church members as well as those not a part of Austin Oaks Church.

Pre-marital mentorships

A godly marriage involves the purposeful effort of two people moving toward a healthy union with each other and with Christ.

We encourage pre-engaged and engaged couples to enter into relationships that include both individual and couple-focused reflection and growth. Doing so can help equip future husbands and wives to build thriving marriages that show God’s goodness.

Funerals

Financial Support

If you, or someone you know, has experienced the loss of a family member you can contact us to make arrangements for an Austin Oaks Church pastor to conduct a funeral service at the church or another location.
Austin Oaks has what is called a Benevolence Fund. This fund is made up of money that has been given by the church specifically to help others in need of financial assistance. The Benevolence Fund is intended as a source of last resort to be used when the family or individual requesting assistance has explored all other possibilities of help from family, friends, savings, investments, sale of unnecessary goods, or eliminating unnecessary items in one’s budget.

Each request is considered individually.  Gifts are intended to be a temporary help during a time of crisis.

Hospital & Home Visits

Grief Share

If you or a loved one has been hospitalized, our church is ready to help with prayer and encouragement. We encourage you to ask your Small Group for prayer and support. If you are not in a group, don't hesitate to reach out to the church for further assistance!
